This combat report and others has a line that reads “Witnessess,” but features no names. Ostensibly, Richthofen compiled and listed witnesses to help secure confirmation of his victory claims, but mostly these were ignored during translation. The great exception is Victory #61, which includes a detailed list of witnesses and their corroborative testimonies.
