Rond 0900 viel ik aan op 3.000 meter hoogte en vergezeld van twee andere machines, een Engels vliegtuig nabij Rancourt. Na 400 schoten vloog het vijandelijke toestel naar beneden, de piloot was dodelijk gewond. Inzittende: Luitenant Fenwick, gedood door een schot in het hoofd.
